| Food & Drink Looking for nice restaurants in Carcassonne | Jolux posted on 13/10/2009 at 17:02
e-mail Jolux | Can anyone recommend some nice restaurants in Carcassonne. I have got some family coming to stay so am looking for both child friendly reasonably priced places and perhaps something a bit more special that my brother and his wife can go to whilst I look after the children. I don't mind if they are in La Cite or the main town.
Thanks

Have been going there for years as the food is excellent and it is very reasonably priced, about 17 Euros for a 3 course lunch (weedays) and 2.50 extra if you take the house wine in a pitcher.
For kids they have a menu for about 10 Euros, also 3 courses. The cooking is done by the owner, classical French, in the summer one can eat in a charming patio. Do phone to book as it's often packed out with locals. |
