Monday 26 January 2009Cinema, CinemaIt's the coldest time of year
and therefore a perfect time to cosy-up in the darkness of a movie
house. Experience that magic as the lights go down and the soundtrack
comes up; it's a sense of occasion that you can never get watching TV at
home. blockbusters and classicsEach Wednesday morning, as soon as the
information is released, AngloINFO brings you a complete list of the
films showing in English in the region. These films are described as VO
(version originale). Sadly, they seldom include animated
children's films but often you can get to see a Hollywood blockbuster - and you can be
pretty sure there'll be a selection of lower budget and "indie"
films to choose from. Go to the English-Language Cinema INFOrmation Page to find what's playing in your area. You can choose to see the schedule for a particular town: just select the town name from the right-hand menu. Or, by using the drop-down menus at the top of the page, you can see the schedule for a particular day or the titles of all films showing in VO across the region. Each movie's title is a hyperlink that
takes you to The Internet Movie Database, where you can find out more
about the movie and its stars, and read reviews from the world's top
critics. Featured Advertiser
