Always a sculptor in his soul, Pierre works with many materials including, wood, stone, metal and ice. He first exhibited in 19985 at Tarbes (65) and since then his work has taken him towards the more ephemeral: Land Art, sculptures in snow, ice and sand. He still continues to work in wood and other traditional sculptural materials. He has been living and working in the region since 1999, and was a member of the artists collective ‘La Grande Barge’ in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone until the opening in December 2005 of his own gallery, ‘L'Atelier du Nord’ in the Figuerolles quarter of Montpellier. Zoe Benbow: Wild Path

Zoe Benbow's new work is based in landscape, an abstract geological landscape developed from direct experience in a remote environment.
